Medical Weight Loss

What to expect

Your care starts with a conversation about your health history, current medications, and weight-management goals. The clinician reviews suitable options, including GLP-1-based prescription treatment when clinically appropriate, and monitors your progress through follow-up care. Prescriptions are sent to a pharmacy; Potters Medical Center provides the medical evaluation and monitoring.

  • An individual medical evaluation and review of your goals
  • Discussion of prescription options, benefits, risks, and alternatives
  • Ongoing follow-up and monitoring with your care team
  • Self-pay professional services, with medication costs confirmed separately

Before your visit

Your questions,
answered.

Do you offer prescription weight-loss treatment?

Yes. The clinician can discuss prescription options, including GLP-1-based treatment when appropriate. Medication is prescribed only after a clinical evaluation; a visit does not guarantee a prescription.

Do you supply or ship the medication?

The practice provides evaluation, prescribing when appropriate, and ongoing monitoring. A pharmacy fills the prescription. Mail-order delivery may be available through the selected pharmacy or program; confirm availability and delivery details directly.

What does the program cost?

Medical weight-loss professional services are self-pay. Ask the clinic for an estimate of consultation and follow-up fees. Medication, testing, and delivery may have separate costs. Pharmacy pricing and any savings-program eligibility must be confirmed separately.

How do I ask about the program?

Call (209) 346-7407 to ask about the program and visit availability. Choose an available time on our appointment page, or call the office for help. Please discuss medical details with the care team rather than sending them through ordinary email.
